The time has finally come that most thought would not come…except for those of us who truly believe in Ambit Energy and the integrity in the structure of the company. Now maybe those who still have doubts can start to realize what potential you are missing out on.

Ambit Energy has re-filed the required application to become an Alternative Gas Supplier (AGS) in Illinois. The application was submitted on Tuesday, March 18th and the process can take up to 45 days. This is the time frame that the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) has to come to a decision. Although 45 days is the maximum time allowed to come to a decision by the ICC, this does not mean that it will take that long. At the latest we will see an answer by early May.

I am confident in Ambit Energy’s resubmission of their application to become an AGS. I feel the time it has taken Ambit Energy to re-file was required by Ambit themselves to ensure a proper application that will produce satisfying results for all.

I encourage you all to read up on the information that is available on the ICC website.

DALLAS, TX (October 29, 2007)

Ambit Energy, L.P., announced today it will begin offering environmentally friendly electricity rate plans to residential customers in Texas and New York. The company’s new green service offerings, called Ambit Certified Green plans, are certified by the Green-e Program to reduce the environmental impact of the energy used by Ambit Energy customers.

Ambit Energy Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Chambless said, “By offering green electricity products, we enhance the ability of our Consultants to provide service to customers in a growing market segment. And because we are Green-e certified, customers on our Ambit Certified Green plans can be confident that the energy use is better for the environment.”

“Consistent with our vision to become the finest and most respected retail energy provider in the country,” said Ambit Energy Co-founder and CEO Jere Thompson, Jr., “we continue to lead our industry by offering Ambit Certified Green plans at a price point in New York and Texas that is lower in most cases than even the standard green products offered by our competitors.”

About Green-e
Green-e is the nation’s leading independent renewable energy certification and verification program. The logo provides an easy way for consumers to quickly identify environmentally superior energy options provided by certified renewable energy.

The way consumers choose energy providers is changing, and even though competition is a good thing, it can be confusing. These are some of the most frequently asked questions we get from consumers who are considering Ambit Energy.

What has changed in electric and natural gas service with deregulation?

You can now choose to buy residential energy from a different supplier than the original provider for your area. These companies are called Retail Electric Providers (REP) in Texas and Energy Service Companies (ESCO) in New York. Ambit Energy is State-approved in Texas and New York as a residential energy supplier consumers can choose when seeking to save money on their electric bills.

How does Ambit Energy reduce my monthly bills?

Deregulation allows REPs and ESCOs, like Ambit Energy, to buy energy wholesale from competitive providers and pass the savings along to customers.

If I switch, where will my power come from?

Your current electric utility or “Local Wires Company” will continue to deliver your electricity. Your Local Distribution Company (Con Ed in New York) will continue to deliver your natural gas. Your power will come from a regional power pool – a mixture of energy from traditional power plants and other sources like wind, water, sun and natural gas. Your local utility company still responds to service interruptions and continues to maintain the power delivery infrastructure. You will continue to receive the same reliable service you are used to with your current utility company, regardless of which Retail Electric Provider or ESCO you receive service from.

Will the reliability of my residential energy service change with deregulation?

No. No matter which REP or ESCO you choose, power will continue to be delivered safely and reliably by the a company still regulated by the Public Utilities Commission in Texas, or the Public Service Commission in New York.

What happens if I have an emergency or power outage?

Because your local utility is still responsible for maintenance and repair, you will call these regulated firms in the event of an emergency or outage at the number provided on your bill. In New York, you still call Con Ed.

Does everyone have the power to choose their energy supplier?

No. City-owned utilities and member-owned electric and/or natural gas cooperatives have the option of giving their customers a choice of providers, or keeping things the way they are today.

What happens if my Retail Electric Provider (REP) or Energy Service Company (ESCO) goes out of business?

You will not be without power. You should receive a notice from your REP or ESCO giving you time to select a new provider. In Texas, if that does not happen, your service will be provided by the Provider of Last Resort (POLR) designated by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) until you select a new provider. In New York, your energy supplier will revert to Consolidated Edison. Be assured, Ambit Energy is financially solid and is in no danger of going out of business.

It is nice to see that Ambit Energy offers Guarantees to their Customers. What does this mean for you as a Customer?

I really like what Ambit has to offer in terms of Guarantees and I hope you find them as reassuring as I have. I believe as times goes on Ambit will add more Guarantees in the future as needed. When they started there were none until it was seen that some assurances needed to be “set in stone.”

That is one thing I like about Chris Chambless and Jere Thompson…they do not hesitate to set themselves apart from the rest and instill good business practices across the board. They realize that the business world is ever-changing and they must step-up to adversity instead of give in to how the rest of the flock acts and reacts.
Ambit Energy offers our customers incredible rewards, impressive savings opportunities and competitive market rates on energy supply. Your incumbent provider will still handle energy delivery and repair power outages just like they always have.

Service Guarantee for all Ambit Service Areas
We are so certain your transition to Ambit Energy service will be flawless that we’re willing to guarantee it. If, for any reason, Ambit Energy disconnects your service during the switching process, we’ll pay your first month’s bill. No questions asked.

New York Savings Guarantee
Ambit Energy customers in New York are guaranteed annual savings of at least one percent under what Con Edison would have charged them for service or they will receive a check for the difference. This holds true for our electricity, natural gas and bundled customers.

Ambit Energy offers electricity and natural gas service to customers in the Con Ed service territory. On electricity, natural gas and bundled accounts, our customers save approximately 7% off Con Ed’s estimated energy supply charge for the first two months and enjoy a competitive monthly rate thereafter. Just for switching, customers save an additional 1-2% in taxes on the delivery charges each and every month.

All Ambit Energy customers will also receive a free travel gift and earn rewards points every month, which can be redeemed for other travel packages.

Ambit Energy’s Lone Star Gold Month-to-Month Plan, with a rate as low as 9.9¢ per kilowatt-hour, doesn’t lock you into a contract and compares very favorably with competitors’ standard month-to-month plans.

One thing that I was hoping to get some insight on from going to Ambit Power Trip was the whole ordeal of Chris Chambless and Janglefish. As I have said before, I choose not to link to things like this because I do not want to promote their blogs that are only meant to slander and cause doubt without any real proof of concrete information. If you would like to see them just google the first part of this blog post title and you will get what you are looking for. =)

During the Question and Answer session Chris Chambless was faced with some questions about Janglefish. Everything that he explained confirmed what I though about all I have found on the net that deals with this topic.

From being around business and business-like activities for many years now I have come to learn the “ups and downs” of business. Whether you own that business or are just part of it because you work there in some way…we all will sooner or later face defeat in one way or another. It is part of business and actually a part of life. Sometimes it leads to the inevitable of unwanted failure and losing something you wanted so bad and worked so hard for. I have learned that nobody and even no TEAM is perfect. Look how long the world has been working towards unification and common goals…only to be undermined by those who are bent on destruction and have no care for the well-being of others.

Janglefish was a company with a service and product that was actually ahead of it’s time…wait??? How can that be with the internet? When the Internet actually makes things NOW and hardly ever ahead of their time??? Janglefish tried to provide music to the masses on the internet legally…but ran into a roadblock. This was due to timing…it was at the TIME when Artists were suing over their rights to songs they produced that were getting shared without them getting due where they are due.

Janglefish lost their supplier and unfortunately had to go out of business. Wait..a business…going out of business…NOOOOO!! This just can’t happen….NOT in AMERICA!!! Yes…unfortunately it does happen a lot and Janglefish just happened to be one of the many business each year to go out of business for one reason or another. When a business loses it’s supplier and can not find another supplier…I find it rather hard for that business to stay open in the line of business that it was currently in. Chris Chambless paid back all those that requested refunds…Why would he say this only to be proven wrong and be made out to be a liar and lose his new business he started? He stands to lose a lot more with Ambit Energy than he die with Janglefish. He also stands to make more too. Anyone who can use a calculator can figure that one out.

I find it hard for someone that wants to run a legit business…to run that legit business. Why is this? There are many reasons with different ones applying to different areas of operations in respect to the type of business it is. I am going to list one for now with maybe more later. What negatives I do find about Ambit I seem to be able to somehow ALWAYS throw under this category:

Unhealthy Competition

This is all over out there about Ambit Energy. These are the sites and blogs that I choose not to link to and never will. Not because I do not want you to see them…I really do…but I will not link to them and promote their sites. Google “Ambit Energy Scam” and search terms that relate to those words and you will find what I am talking about. I find that these people like to remain anonymous and after time have shown their real skin. They are from another company that is trying to bash Ambit Energy in any way they can to try and scare people off.

If you are from a rival company would you not want to be BETTER than your competition and prove why you are BETTER than your competition? Not prove why your company should not be dealt with…as is what happens from unhealthy competition. Ambit Energy is upfront about everything that they do. From Compensation plans to Customer Relations(In every aspect). Ambit does not hide anything and never will.

Goes to show a lot about the competition when they are more concerned with trying to bash Ambit than building their own business up.

What does this mean for Ambit?

When I put everything that I know and everything that I have learned into a big pot and stir it up…Ambit is a business that was formed with great principles that are driven towards empowering many with that chance to succeed. They are not promoting this business as a get rick quick business but as a “get rich quicker” business. That is my wording…not theirs. They lay the program out to us in a way that shows us we can “get rich quicker” if we have the passion to put into this as they have. This is a business like any other business in which you have to invest time and yes some money. What business that succeeds can you get started for free? If there are some it can only be a miracle. I have found the start-up is relatively CHEAP compared to other types of business. Plus with tax breaks throw in…it can almost equal out to covering business expenses.

Chris Chambless unfortunately lost in a business adventure he previously was in…when have you not failed in something that you tried hard for? Did you not try again at it or something else in hopes to prosper again? I know I have. When I researched all that was out there and learned what I did from Ambit Power Trip 2008…I was convinced that he is a stand-up guy who is genuine in the ethical practices of his new business venture. If he was not it would have been apparent by now over a year after starting Ambit Energy.

Instead of things crumbling under him the business has grown and even been accredited by the BBB and has offered a Service Guarantee. He envisions empowering many with the ability to embrace our passion to succeed and turn it into a chance to “get rich quicker.” We just have to decide for ourselves if this is the opportunity that we can envision working for us.

I encourage you to contact me or do some searching of your own if you have doubts in any area that concerns Ambit and possibly being a Consultant or Customer. I am available almost 24 hours a day and will take any questions or comments that you may have.

I took time to make an informed choice and hope that you do also. Please bookmark my site and blog and make it back my way if you decide that Ambit is a good choice for you.

I think this is a good start to this topic and will add some more at a later date. I welcome and encourage all respectful comments. Please…if you comment here I would appreciate you being genuine in all aspects. If you are going to hide who you are…why even make a statement that you want to be considered as true?

Hello to all!! That is me up there, Phil Simers, at the Ambit Energy Power Trip 2008 Corporate Tour. Welcome to my first post about the experience I had at such an amazing event.

My Brother Jeremy and I drove down to Addison, Texas from Massillon, Ohio for the Power Trip…yes I know what your thinking…are you nuts?…we even drove straight through…something we will do over again…as long as we each get more than 30 minutes of sleep as the other drives!! LoL! We were just so excited about what we knew we were getting ourselves into that it was really hard to sleep. That coupled with weather and making sure we did not miss any exits. It was more than worth the trip and our time to experience first hand from Chris Chambless , Jere Thompson, Carlos Marin, Pete Maugans, Brian McClure, and many others what Ambit is all about. Not just Compensation Plans and to effectively organize your teams…but what Ambit is ABOUT!

One of our goals was to learn as much as possible about the ideals behind how they operate their business…since this is marketing based most people do have worries about whether or not this is a “MLM Scam” or not. I hope through all of my blogs you will be able to come to your own decision as I did. I found out that they have put a lot of thought into how they wanted Ambit Energy to be known in respect to how they treat their Consultants and Customers. I believed in this before I went and there is no way to not believe now that I did go.

The first thing for Power Trip was Corporate Office tours. I was amazed at the thought that was put behind the structuring of their offices. Everything Ambit Energy does is with a mindset that is for their Consultants and Customers. I thought I was going to be taken into an EXTRAVAGANTLY laid out office…but got the totally opposite! I was amazed because most people do not think effectively in all areas…but these guys did! Their work desks are TABLES…not desks…from Walmart….there are no “offices”….all open space with some cubicles. They wanted an environment that spoke their mindset for them…only what is needed and not excess…and an open work environment that speaks wonders for efficiency. Everyone that works at the Corporate Office works together to help each other out in every way. The open environment enables their workers to communicate and help each other in ways a traditional office could not. There is nothing hidden about this business…even the “head honchos” are included in that open environment setting. No special offices or furniture for them either.
Everyone met at the hotel ballroom for Dinner with Chris Chambless and Jere Thompson. Everything was well thought out and was definitely clear that Wise Business minds put this together. There was even a Question and Answer session that put them center stage in the spotlight. Literally! There was no pre-planned questions…no beating around the bush…and no avoiding the ones that may be “touchy” to talk about. That is because there is nothing to hide about Ambit Energy and the way they run their business.

Saturday there were 2 sessions held for training and some very insightful outlooks from many who have been successful and how it has worked for them. Even when some started out working only an hour a day they were able to build it to where they FIRED THEIR BOSS! We all dream of that and it is possible for so many people. That is why Ambit was formed the way it was…to empower as many individuals as possible so they may experience Financial Freedom and no more standard expected lifestyles. Think about this…wouldn’t they make more for themselves in the long run if they used traditional means of advertising? Consultants’ pay compounds over time…advertising fees for TV, radio, billboards, etc remain relatively the same and decrease with how long you are advertising with certain mediums. They would rather see us prosper…that is what drives them! What drives you? I know what drives me.

All in all it was an amazing experience that I will go into more detail about when I get home. I could not help but get something out as we drove…not too much else to do while he drives. Sleep is in order though. =) We are halfway back to Ohio…somewhere around Nashville, Tennessee. We were going to stop and have a layover…but decided to take it straight through again…as we are able to sleep now LoL! Please bookmark my blog and come back often as I will be putting more about Power Trip up on a daily basis.

Thank you for taking time to read this. If you are interested in becoming a Consultant or Customer please research and call me. I will be more than happy to answer any questions and show you how the opportunity is now and how you can benefit so much from something that is so easy.

Ambit Energy is a unique company. Few ground-floor business opportunities combine such a low start up cost with such huge income potential and such experienced support.

There are five different ways to earn income with Ambit’s compensation plan.

1. Jump Start Bonuses
Ambit wants customer gatherers and we’ll pay you to be one. You can earn up to $400 for enrolling 30 energy customers. Enroll 4 customers in 4 weeks and earn $100. Enroll 6 more customers within 8 weeks, earn another $100. Then we’ll pay you $50 more each time you enroll an additional 5 customers within your first 12 weeks, up to $400.

2. Team Builder
Ambit Energy will also pay you to sponsor new customer gatherers and to help them enroll a few customers. You can earn $100 each time you sponsor a new Marketing Consultant who enrolls four customers in their first four weeks.

3. Customer Residual Income
Build a team of customer gatherers and Ambit Energy will pay you each month for every active customer in levels 1-6 of your organization. The more your electricity customers use, the more money you’ll make. Over time, the results can be tremendous. Click here to download 5 Ways to Earn.

4. Consultant Leadership Bonuses
Anyone can be a leader. It’s not based on how much you make or where you went to school. It’s based on how hard you work and how much you help others succeed. Each time you qualify for a new leadership level the rewards get bigger. Consultant Leadership Bonuses reach up to $190 and are paid to unlimited levels.

5. Customer Bonus Residual
Ambit Energy leaders can also earn monthly bonuses on every active customer in ANY level of their downline organization. Customer Residual bonuses reach up to $2.00 per customer per month and are paid to unlimited levels.

Illinois is still in Pre-Launch for potential Ambit Energy Consultants. What does this mean for you?

This means that you still have a chance to TEST out Ambit for a fully refundable $39. When I say test…you get to experience what Ambit can offer you along the lines of seeing how the website is and what it is like to start structuring a team of Consultants. Once Ambit is out of Pre-Launch you will be able to continue with Ambit or ask for your $39 to be refunded. You will be able to have your team started and bonuses coming in automatically. Although I myself would be hard-pressed to come up with a reason not to stay with Ambit Energy Illinois after the Pre-Launch.

Pre-Launch is available to all U.S. residents. As is becoming an Ambit Consultant. You can become an Ambit consultant while residing in any state…Although you can only sign-up customers for Texas, New York, and soon Illinois. Energy Deregulation is only going to happen once…I didn’t pass the opportunity by…will you?
